It keeps the familiar 5+2 Viscaria blueprint but uses Super Arylate-Carbon to make the response firmer, faster, and more direct. The result is a sharper click, a shorter dwell window, and more rebound when the player accelerates. It is not simply a universally better Viscaria: it is the more demanding version for an attacker who wants extra authority in counters and finishing shots.

It suits an advanced offensive player who already controls an outer-carbon blade and wants more direct pace without abandoning the Viscaria family shape. The best match is a committed two-winged attacker who takes the ball early, counters through the bounce, and has enough racket speed to engage a hard rubber. It is especially attractive when standard Viscaria feels too soft or loses penetration at full swing.

The blade can open with substantial speed and a penetrating trajectory, but it gives less automatic lift than standard Viscaria. The player must brush forward with a clear racket angle and use the rubber topsheet to create the first arc. A full, confident loop is rewarded; a tentative upward lift can produce a ball that is too low or too long because the shorter dwell leaves less room for correction.

Yes for an advanced backhand that is built around early timing, punch counters, and active blocks. The Super ALC face stays composed during fast exchanges and sends a firm ball back quickly. It is less forgiving for a player whose backhand relies on soft passive absorption or late contact, so a more elastic or slightly softer rubber can help if the blade feels too abrupt.

A hard, grippy rubber such as Dignics 05 matches the blade when the goal is heavy topspin and high-impact counterlooping; Butterfly itself has featured a Viscaria Super ALC setup with Dignics 05 on both sides. Dignics 09C is a more deliberate forehand choice for serve, receive, and the first opening, while Dignics 64 creates a faster, flatter backhand.
